Soup and Sauce Ladles

Patrick Senior says that the design for the ladle evolved from a desire to make a wooden spoon utilising timber off-cuts. The off-centre turning of the hollow of the spoon gives it a fine edge for scooping and is pleasing to the eye. The Ebony locking pin was chosen to provide contrast to the Huon Pine but without the need to introduce another material.
