Forest Stand

At first glance, Forest Stand appears simple, yet its joinery reveals quiet complexity and crafted precision. Utilising saved studio offcuts comprising an array of Tasmanian specialty timbers, this pared-back clothes stand balances strength with lightness of form. Contrasting oxidised and natural finishes heighten its silhouette and negative space. Both functional and sculptural, it is a utilitarian domestic object that reflects the designer’s considered aesthetic and philosophy.
