Tallulah Eaves
In my practice I often draw upon my dreams and memories from my childhood. I gravitate toward living things, particularly the natural and unhuman. I love to find beauty in ordinary places. The pottery wheel grounds my work. Throwing, turning and firing are transformative processes seemingly imbued with magic.
Tallulah Eaves is a Launceston based ceramicist. Currently undertaking a dual bachelor degree in Fine Arts and History at the University of Tasmania. Eaves' work is driven by a fascination with the world and inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century, particularly the textile and wallpaper designs produced by Morris & Co.
