Rye Dunsmuir

Rye Dunsmuir aims to design objects and furniture that retain a sense of place and respect for function and material. His work demonstrates refinement to a minimum of components, materials ad elements. Rye’s furniture combines classic proportions and contemporary lines; his making incorporates age-old processes ensures sustainability through longevity. Rye was General Manager of Design Tasmania from 2006 to 2015 and is now dedicated to design and production of unique Tasmanian products.
