Olé & Kathryn Windfeld-Peterson

Tasmanian born Kathryn Windfeld-Petersen trained as a clothing designer at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen. Upon returning to Australia she worked for several fashion designers in Sydney, before returning to Tasmania to live in 1992, establishing a business in partnership with Danish born Ole.

From a farming background, Ole also has a great deal of experience working with metals, including proficiency as a welder. In 1996 he commenced study at the Centre of Furniture Design, University of Tasmania. The couple held a regular stall at Salamanca Market while working fulltime as designer / makers.
