Join Design Tasmania as we host the touring exhibition, Resolved - Journeys in Australian Design, opening on Friday July 1st 6pm.
Resolved arrives from the Australian Design Centre in Sydney, after a long tour around the country. This exhibition joins national designers for an unusual set up exuding class, experience and above all classic design. Each designer has created a contained journey of their design's creation, allowing the viewer to understand the processes and outcomes of the project.
Presented in collaboration with Workshopped, a design organisation nurturing and supporting designers in bringing their products to the marketplace. The winners of Workshopped’s 2013 exhibition Kink Studios have designed the exhibition furniture, offering an innovative approach in telling the designer’s story.
Featuring Adam Cornish, Adam Goodrum, Alex Gilmour, Ben McCarthy, Bic Tieu, Chris Hardy, Fukutoshi, Gary Galego, Kate Stokes, Marc Harrison, Matt Conway, and Zoë MacDonell. The winners of Workshopped’s 2013 exhibition Kink Studios have designed the exhibition furniture, offering an innovative approach in telling the designer’s story.
The exhibition first opened in June 2014 before touring nationally to the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, Western Plains Cultural Centre, Tamworth Regional Art Gallery, Cairns Regional Art Gallery, Bunbury Regional Galleries, Geraldton Regional Art Gallery, Albury Library Museum, and the Tasmanian Design Centre.
